CEC has established guidelines on member privacy protection which are used in retaining member information to ensure confidentiality to protect the member's privacy rights.
CEC will only collect and use information for core business purposes. We will be lawful and fair to the individual whose data we are storing and will retain only what is needed to maintain the business relationship with the member. This means CEC will not disclose information for an unrelated purpose without the consent of the individual or by authority of law.
The Cooperative's ability to successfully implement its business is dependent on maintaining accurate information. CEC will strive to keep information it holds about customers as accurate as possible to ensure quality data is retained and assessable.
CEC will not trade or sell members' personal data to third parties.
